\"What You Always Wanted To Know About iPod Accessories\"
Mexico, D.F. - 19-Sep-2006 -Only if you have interest in learning more about ipod accessories should you read this article. It provide all you want to know about iPod accessories.
The Apple iPod has been taking the world by storm since the tiny handheld device has been released. The iPod has made it possible for people to download almost their entire music library into a mini-computer that they can take with them wherever they go. Apple has created variations on the original iPod, and has also created a variety of accessories to allow even more functionality from the little device.
The large accessories market that has built up around the iPod is sometimes described as the iPod ecosystem. Different companies produce accessories that are designed to work with the iPod. Companies such as JBL, Bose, Altec Lansing, and Kensington all make speakers that are designed specifically to work with the iPod, using the iPod\'s thirty pin dock connector. Other companies, such as Griffin Technology and Monster Cable, make add-ons that allow the iPod to record sound, recharge \"on the go,\" play music over the radio, or be used wirelessly with a remote.
There are several models of iPods now available on the stores. There are the 1st through 5th generation iPods that are the typical iPod style-small and flat with a little display screen. There is also the iPod mini, which is smaller and holds less information that other iPods. There is also the iPod shuffle, which automatically shuffles through all the music files on the iPod. It holds less music than other iPods and does not have the display screen like the others. And there is also the iPod photo and the last creation...the iPod video.
The headphone connector on the 5th generation iPod (iPod with video) accepts an Apple-branded A/V cable with RCA connectors for composite video and stereo analog audio. The iPod Camera Connector allows the transfer of digital photo files from a digital camera or media card reader to a full-size color screen iPod using a small adapter attached to the lock connector.
The current iPod models use internal lithium-ion batteries. (The 1st and 2nd generations used lithium polymer batteries.) Apple states that the 60 GB and 30 GB iPods have battery lives of \"up to 20 hours\" and \"up to 14 hours\" respectively.[24] Many users of the 30 GB video iPod report battery lives of around 7 hours on average.[25] A review of the same iPod by Ars Technica found that its battery lasted for approximately 10 hours, however they note that it had been \"improperly charged.\"
So whether it's going small with the iPod Nano, or going all out with the newest iPod, there is something out there for everyone. There are price ranges for everyone too.
